Hennessy VSOP NYX Launch Party 2012

Started my first party of the year 2012 with a BANG! Woots. Its the Hennessy VSOP Privilege Collection NYX Launch Party @ Vertigo, The Gardens last Thursday. Hennessy had launched it’s new collector’s bottle that glows in the dark, and what better way to launch it IN the dark & watch it glow? We were given white gloves as our passes to enter the party venue. Quite an awesome idea.

But before that, we were asked to collect our passes at the Hennessy road show which is locate at Mid Valley opposite MPH and Coffee Bean.

Customers can purchase the Hennessy VSOP NYX with a reasonable price. I think it’s around RM203 for one bottle. Limited edition bottles. So you should grab one now before the promotion ends!

It was compulsory to wear after we registered. And thus, all of us don’t know where’s the venue for the event at first. That’s when we will be spotted by the Hennessy Blond girls and to be escorted to the venue, which is at Vertigo.

The purpose of the white glove is to let everyone’s hands to glow in the dark with the UV light shining throughout the event/launch of the NYX.


They even have Glow in the dark tattoo services for all guests! Guess who’s back is this? lol.

The party venue at Vertgo was a little too small to hold the overflowing crowd but everyone didn’t mind as the free flow of Hennessy that matters! Despite the free flow ends before 11pm, but still. Well, I got myself an awesome table with never ending free flow drinks. :D

Oh yeah. Not forgetting the good music to go with it. DJ Blink heated the venue for a good 2 & a half hours! Jyahhh….

Overall, it was quite an awesome night for me. I really did enjoyed myself. Not drunk but I enjoyed the music, company, photos taking, dancing and all. #BESTPARTYEVER.

Once agan, Thanks to Hennessy Malaysia for making it happened again! Yeah. You know I’ll always been very supportive. Anything to do with ermm…. You know lah. Looking forward for more Hennessy Parties this year 2012.

Itz EPIConcert!

One fine Sunday afternoon last year, there’s a event called EPIConcert! This is the first ever public fundraiser by EPIC Collaborative and was held at The Stage, Publika Square. We definitely did receive a dose of 90’s nostalgia, love the goodie bags put together by Carrefour especially! The program for the whole afternoon were basically band performances and games.

As you know, Advertlets was the social media partner/sponsor for this event, thus we’re there to join the FUN! check out the photos. Oh yeah sorry for the delay of this post. :)

All in all it was quite a fun Sunday afternoon. It lasted till evening. Altogether, they had raised a total of RM13, 247 for EPIC Homes, an outreach program that revolves around building homes for the Orang Asli. This sum will be used in January, 2012, where EPIC Collaborative will be building a home in KKB. That’s pretty awesome yeah.

Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge, Brazil @ KL Live

Sorry for the delay for this blog post. It’s been a busy November and December month for me and the parties that I’ve been attending was uncountable. Thus, I have no choice but blog post are meant to be postponed and finally, here you go. I present you the very exclusive Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge, Brazil event/party @ KL Live. Happened last month on the 27th November 2011.

Johnnie Walker event/party has been very exclusive since day one which happened 2 years ago. Without any disappointment, Charles James Wright did it again to make Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge event a success. Also for being having one of the BEST parties/events in Malaysia. No doubt it’s one of the best party to attend in Malaysia.

Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 finalist! Check em out cause they will ALWAYS be at Johnnie Walker events.

As you know the theme this time was Brazil. Which was in conjunction with the F1 grand Prix which is happening in Brazil on that time. Not to bad as Jenson Button from McLaren-Mercedes got 3rd placing right after 1st and 2nd place RBR-Renault, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel.

The results doesn’t stop us from partyin. At least we got something to celebrate for. Which is for Jenson Button’s 3rd place victory. All in all, the McLaren-Mercedes team did not bad this season 2011. Currently, they are in 2nd place on team position with 497 points. Right behind 1st place RBR-Renault with 650 points.

Yeap! There you have it, the exclusive party Johnnie Walker event that happened at KL Live. Overall it was a great night, definitely. Ecoba Restaurant & Bar & The Malaysian AIDS Foundation have joined forces to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, engage youths through education and prevention activities and to reduce the spread of the epidemic among young people.

Globally, half of all new HIV infections are among young people, so all the more important that this group is addressed so they are equipped with the knowledge to talk about the issue more openly and ultimately to lower the statistic of youth with HIV/AIDS.

We want to also activate the public to “RAISE THEIR VOICE”, speak up and speak out about HIV/AIDS, and shatter the ignorance that had led to the spread of this epidemic.

In the spirit of activism, Ecoba Restaurant & Bar is organising a music fest aimed at generating awareness on HIV/AIDS among youths and raising funds for the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF), an independent NGO based in Malaysia to prevention and education on HIV/AIDS, organise public awareness campaigns and exhibitions; and build advocacy with government and private sector groups.

7aste Moscow At Laundry Bar Curve

7aste Moscow is BACK and thus I had the chance to experience it last weekend over at Laundry Bar, The Curve. The event started at 8pm. Arrived an hour later after the event starts and hence the venue was rather packed when i reached there. Everyone was a VIP. Free flow of beer, and for the VIPs, we were entitled to bottles of Vodkas. Awesome thing that I was entitled one bottle of Vodka buttt….. I was smart I did not redeem it.

The venue was pretty small I say. And the Beer ran out too fast and games this time was pretty limited. As far as I know that there’s only 1 games which we can play which is the Russian Roulette. You are entitle to play only if you purchase a box of mild seven Cigarettes, Lighter and a cigg box. Which all cost RM10 each.

The Dirty Bass, Far East Movement Hits KL.

#Jyahhh. Far East Movement performed in Malaysia for the very first time on the 3rd of December 2011 and their performance was packed with energy for that full hour and the half. The interactions between them and the crowd was perfect. One of the best concert/show/party I’ve been so far. Also, a big shoutout to DJ Crystal, DJ Junior, and Malaysia’s very own DJ Ken and Jakeman for all the opening acts for Far East Movement. Anyway, I would like to Thank UMM! My trip to the party with Fly East Movement is wasn’t possible without Universal Music Malaysia. Woots! Let put our hands together to the DIRTY BASS. LA BASS. TRANSPARENT AGENCY. FM CREEPS. adidasNEO : Counting down the hours

Hi guys! It’s the last day for the adidasNEO competition! If you haven’t already, please do cast your votes for me! It’s less than 5 hours!

Like I’ve said since the beginning of the competition, every LIKE and COMMENT is considered as votes in assisting me to be one of the TOP 2 Finalists! Don’t forget to share my latest pictures and videos out!

Once again, I’d like to thank EVERYONE who has helped me in this insane journey. Tonnes of sweat, blood (I got bitten by red ants and mosquitoes, yo!), energy, emotions and of course, effort were sacrificed for this competition to be the next adidasNEO ambassador.

The competition ends tonight at midnight and  2 NEO Bloggers will be chosen to continue onto the third phase. Basically, I was told that the 2 selected NEO bloggers are required to taken on the challenge of documenting their journey from the adidas Alpha Angle store to the other stores, which is Kuantan and Kota Kinabalu.

I was like “O.O?! More travelling?” *looks into empty pockets

But what’s awesome about the adidasNEO management is that flight, accommodation and transport money are all paid.

What a relief! *wipes off sweat

Each blogger will either travel to Kuantan or Kota Kinabalu
Blogger 1 : Alpha Angle -> Kuantan
Blogger 2 : Alpha Angle -> Kota Kinabalu

They will only have two days and a night to complete the challenge.

Once return to KL, each blogger will have to edit and prepare their videos for the final showdown on the adidasNEO app.
Video submission is on the 14th of December.

On the 9th of December, the entire app will turn green and on the 16th of December, the NEO Digital Event will commence! The adidas management and its global team will be invited to view the digital event. The NEO Digital Event will only last for 48 hours. The final two videos will compete to accumulate as many likes… again!A main video will do a short introduction of the campaign and to the two videos.

The winner will be determined by:
50% – adidas management
30% – Creativity
20% – Votes!!! (Guys, again, I will be needing your help!)

The winner will be announced on the 19th of December!

The winner and runner up will be working with the adidasNEO team next year in preparation for future campaigns under the advice of adidas global.

Wow, just…. wow! I really am excited for all that and to be honest, I love taking on challenges that are foreign to me. Im always, always ready for something new! I know I can be THE adidasNEO ambassador to make everyone proud. So, don’t forget to vote for me guys!

adidasNEO : Go GREEN with adidasNEO. The final push

Hi, guys! This is my FINAL post about adidasNEO because the competition is coming to an end! Very soon… Thank you all for your faithful LIKES and COMMENTS, making me #1 right now. I’m so ever grateful to people who have been supporting me throughout this tough journey. It really means A LOT to me.

So, for the final video, I intended to get it creatively made. I requested for help from my friends – Charis and Minghan. They suggested to bring in two talented videographers, Daryl Heng from Sundae Productions and Raffi Th’ng, a friend of mine as well. We all met over dinner one day, and brainstormed for ideas and voila…

If you do not get what’s the video is about, here’s a basic summary :

The day started like any other work day – sleepy, lazy and just plain dead. After getting some coffee by the petrol station i stepped back into my car. Just before I headed off to work, it struck me. Something was off. And I remembered it was rush hour and there would be bad traffic to where I was heading.

As I got out of the car, everything seemed blurry. The heat was intense. The road was long. To me, this was my fight to save fuel. I went on foot (save fuel, save time and save Mother Earth, yes?), through the jungle in my mind.  I entered into a world totally equipped none other but adidasNEO apparel to give me the OOMPH to be ready for anything. In this world, adidasNEO made everything more dynamic. Everything became exciting, everything became slicker, and faster!

Leaping off cliffs and soaring like an eagle in my mind as I hopped over short curbs on the road. Watching the ladies cheer for me, supplying me with my some refreshing beverages. Although, I’m not too sure that’s what exactly happened in reality. Running past the nerdy guy who’s always giving out fliers, I defeated the Ninja of The Forest in my head. I might have hit him a little too hard though. The last obstacle – the climb. The few flight of stairs was like a track up the highest hill of the jungle. Finally, I made it back to the location. I did what I had to do at the end – to send out adidasNEO’s theme : GO GREEN.

How does Spritzer Mini Dispenser changes my life.

I am a water freak. Even though I prefer drinking sweet drinks but still I need to consume at least 5 littlers of water everyday for my whole body system. Since I’m staying alone outside and I don’t really have a kettle to boil water, plus don’t even have the time to boil water at home. Am always out with work and events. Life’s is hectic and busy with all the happenings going around me. Thus, I’ve tried buying a BOX of 1.5L mineral water. But it seems it couldn’t help me much cause I will be keep misplacing my water bottle. And after I’ve done drinking it, the water bottles are scattered around everywhere and taking up a lot of space every corner in my room.

And recently I was I happy when I found out that Spritzer mineral water came out with a newly design mini dispenser. Which could make my life easier as I need water so much for my daily living. As you know that there’s quite a lot of dispenser brands out there. One of the disadvantage of them is that they dont have a portable mini dispenser which I find it handy for me. haven’t said that, I prefer drinking water in normal temperature. Not cold, nor hot. Cause I like to drink water itself that way.
Good news that I was given a Spritzer 9.5L & 6L with Mini Dispenser to review here on my blog! and after using it for 2 weeks, I guess it has changes my life a lot! Here’s my story, find out how.


This is how to install the Spritzer Mini Dispenser.


It’s so convenient that i could drink water when im on bed. :)


Also it comes in handy when I’m busy at work! I can now drink water anytime without walking to the kitchen.

Spritzer in Malaysia is synonym with quality bottled water. They have been around since the 1980’s and started operation in Taiping, Perak. Their facility is 300 acres wide and covered in lush greenery of Taiping. Natural Mineral water produced at the plant has a green cap to denote that they are mineral water. The mineral water is sourced from 400ft underground and then hygienically filtered and bottled to international standards. The products are duly certified by ABWA (Asia Middle East Bottled Water Association) and certified to ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP (MS 1480:2007 and Codex Alimentarius) by SIRIM QAS International & SGS respectively.

Woots! I love their latest Spritzer 9.5L and 6L with Mini Dispenser Series. Spritzer Mini Dispenser really changes my life. Now, I got reason to drink more water! without any hassle.

It is also comparatively cheaper than the usual water dispensers you usually see in the office or at home with much convenient features. If I am not mistaken, it is only around RM 32 for the whole set of dispenser and the water refills is also conveniently purchasable from the nearest Spritzer 9.5L and 6L with Mini Dispenser Series is now only available in Giant, Cold Storage & selected petrol kiosk.

Now, there’s a better reason for you guys to get Spritzer Mini Dispenser.

adidasNEO : Gettin’ down with adidasNEO

Hey peeps!

I was thinking to myself the other day, “What other activities can I incorporate the elements of adidasNEO with?”

I kind of brushed off the thought for a moment. But I came across this video on Youtube and it was one of the dances from Step Up 3! I realised that the outfit plays an important part, especially to dancers. I have many dancer friends myself, and they are very particular about their outfits because appearance does matter when it comes to dance competitions/performances.

& voila… an idea sparked!

So, for the next activity, I gathered all my friends who are dancers to do this shoot with me (although I’m not a very good dancer myself, but… does club dancing count?!). We were all donned in none other but adidasNEO apparel because it provides good-quality comfort and style which is vital for dancers! What’s important is that adidasNEO exudes energy in the designs of their outfit – be it colours or the illustrations.

HENNESSY ARTISTRY HALO 2011 PRESS CONFERENCE.

Hennessy Artistry Halo 2011, with a tagline of “The Ultimate Party Mix” did happened 2 days ago at the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) at Mines Resort. The big names who did performed in Hennessy’s biggest party of 2011 consisting of Chris Willis, Yolanda Be Cool, Landy Wen, Park Jung Ming, DJ Goldfish and Blink did brought a unique blend of different musical genres from the East and West.

And thus, I was invited to the press conference a day before the party. I was excited to meet the artiste upclose and yes, i did manage to meet them upclose and took a few photos with them too. As for now, let the photos do the talking for me.

adidasNEO : ATV rides are better with adidasNEO

HELLO FELLOW READERS!

Okay, Im currently positioned third in the adidasNEO competition and I’m fighting hard to be the Final 2! *fingers crossed
I’ve been getting lots of comments about how tedious the voting system is, but, I just want to thank each and everyone who took the time to LIKE and COMMENT on my photos and videos one by one. adidasNEO : 8TV Quickie Shoot

Hi readers!

I just wanna keep thanking to those who have been voting continuously! I have 26 more days to fight my way to be included as one of the Top 2 finalists to be in the running to being Malaysia’s FIRST adidasNEO ambassador! Yes, less than a month!
